In regular cases in order to get a single-entry short-stay Schengen visa for the Republic of Lithuania an alien person must personally present the following documents to the Embassy:
- fully filled-in form of application for a Schengen visa [ EN-GE ( 187.5 kb ), EN-RU ( 202.0 kb ) , specimen ( 189.0 kb )] ;
- passport, valid at least another three months beyond your last day of travel and a copy of it;
- one color, white background picture, size 35 on 45 mm, corresponding to the age of an alien;
- invitation, confirmed by the Migration Department of the MoIA Republic of Lithuania (exept the citizens of some countries) and copy of such invitation;
- documents (policy) certifying applicant's medical/travel insurance for the sum at least of 30000 Euros on the territory of Shengen, valid for the whole requested period and copy of such document and a copy of it;
- a document, proving a right to return to the departed country or the country the citizen or a permanent resident of which an alien is, or the right to go to a third country and a copy of it;
- if requested - additional documents proving aim and conditions of the visit (contracts, for example), means of living (40 Euros per requested day) or their lawful provider during the stay in the Republic of Lithuania (salary sertificates, for example), means to return to the country (two-way tickets, for example), that an alien has the right to travel (destination visas) must be submitted.
A consular non-refundable application fee for a processing of application for short stay visa is 60 euro, in cash, in Euro.
As a rule, processing of applications takes not more than 10 working days.
